
It's good to be on the look out for sales in produce at the grocery store.
Take red peppers, for instance. During the winter months, they become as expensive as gold.
So, when they go on sale. I buy a bunch, dice them up, and freeze them in one cup measurements.
Then when I need them for a recipe, like a soup or chili, I can just toss them in, frozen.
Saves time and money...
