Academy Awards Viewing-- With Snacks

Did you watch the Oscars tonight? We did, and we ate well, too. We had a house filled with teenagers, and they eat like human vacuum cleaners. So food was an ongoing event, from snacks pre-red carpet to dinner right before the show began, to desserts and more snacks afterwards.

Here's the menu:

Snacks, part 1

buffalo chicken strips
baby carrots and ranch dressing
chips and guacamole

Dinner

"Clean the refrigerator" soup
Classic Reuben sandwiches
arugala salad with oranges and walnuts

Dessert

oatmeal raisin cookies
triple ginger cookies
lemon squares with blueberries

Snacks, part 2

gorp (M&Ms, raisins, dried cranberries, cashews, smoked almonds, pumpkin seeds)
granola marshmallow bars

Hard to believe, but there is almost nothing left. I believe they all have hollow legs!
