Add Some Punch to Your Party!

Ah, June! The month known for Weddings...A great month to have a baby (before the summer heat!) and of course...the time when all of the activities your kids are involved in come to an end - complete with year end parties! Well, I thought I should punch it up a notch (ha-ha) by sharing a fresh and inexpensive punch recipe that I have used many times to rave reviews:

Refreshing White Punch

4 cups (1L) of white grape juice, chilled
1 cup (250 ml) thawed, frozen lemonade concentrate
4 cups (1L) club soda, chilled

1. Combine the first two ingredients.
2. Slowly add the third ingredient.
3. Toss in some sliced lemons or frozen grapes for some extra elegance.

And don't be put off because you don't have a punch bowl (Although if you ask around someone usually has one lurking in their closet - right beside their fondue pot!). You can just as easily use pitchers, which is actually handy if you have a number of tables for the guests to sit at.

Happy Cooking,

Lesli
