Blackened Chicken and Corn

First, you have to mix the ingredients for the dry rub marinade.

Combine together paprika, pepper, chili pepper, cumin, and salt. The measurements will depend on how much meat you're going to grill.

Husk the corn, Cut them in 3rds. Cut a couple of slits on the chicken breasts.

Melt 4 tbsp of butter in the microwave.

Use separate bowls please. Pour half of the melted butter over the chicken. Coat the poultry evenly. Sprinkle some of the dry rub marinade, coat evenly. Cover the bowl, then store in the fridge for about an hour.

Repeat the proces with the corn.

Grill the chicken and corn, on each side. Aren't they beautiful? The spicey-ness of the corn is a nice twist from the usual boiling method, in my opinion.

This is definitely another BBQ recipe you might want to try for backyard parties this summer.
