

INGREDIENTS:
whole button mushrooms
sliced red onions
2 tsp of water
1/4 cup of sherry wine
sprinkle of garlic powder
salt and pepper
olive oil
2 tbsp of butter
Saute red onions in olive oil. Add the button mushrooms, and water. Season with garlic powder, sale and pepper, then add the sherry. Cover and let it cook. Be careful not to overcook the mushrooms. Stir a couple of times. Once the mushrooms are cooked, transfer it on a serving platter along with the red onions.
Back to the pan, add butter to the sherry sauce and let it reduce. It should be slightly thick. Once reduced, pour the sauce on top of the mushrooms and red onions.
This is a perfect side item for grilled steaks.
