I actually got the recipe and the bar idea from the back of the Baker's chunky chocolates packet. I added one ingredient though. The Baker's recipe don't use baking powder. I always use baking powder in my cookies.

INGREDIENTS:
1 3/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cups(1 1/2 sticks) butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1 cup walnuts *optional
Preheat Oven to 375F. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt until blended; set aside.
Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar with a mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, beat until well blended. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until well blended after each addition. Stir in chocolate chunks.
Pour evenly on a baking pan. Bake for 20-22 minutes. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into small bars.

Yummy. Crunchy, chewy and moist. Just the way I want my chocolate chip cookies.
