This was the first time I ever made biscuits. We've only had them when we go to KFC or some local fried-chicken restaurant. I've never tried making it to accompany any of our meals. I don't know why. With all the experimenting sessions in my kitchen I've never tackled biscuits. Until now :).

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup shortening
1 cup of milk
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Cut in shortening with a fork until mixture resembles rice kernels.
Stir in milk until the mixture clings to itself.
Drop spoonful of the mixture onto muffin pans. Bake at 450F 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Either serve with spreadable butter or maple syrup. I had one of each :)
