Feel like watching some cheese age? Yes, cheese age!

West Country Farmhouse Cheesemakers have had a live web feed focused on one of their handmade cheddars since the beginning of 2007. Not surprisingly (or maybe surprisingly...) the cheese-cam has recorded over 1 million visitors.

Once you've had enough of watching the cheesey antics of the fromage, you can nominate a name for the cheese. Or watch the YouTube time-lapse video.

Now don't expect an action packed chunk of cheddar ageing before your eyes. This is a slow food process and West Country Farmhouse Cheesemakers plans to keep the webcam up for a whole year, so you'll have lots of time to check back and note the molding process taking place. Hey, I think I just found something for you to do this weekend!
