HELL's Kitchem, Season 3

I love cooking shows. I'm always watching the FoodTV network every chance I get. But a cooking reality show? Heck Yeah. The Hell's Kitchen cooking reality show that is. When the first season aired, my husband and I were immediately hooked. My husband is a good cook as well. Way much better than I am actually coz he knows techniques, has attended culinary classes and has won awards for his dishes. When American Idol 6 ended, FOX showed the new season of Hell's Kitchen and instantly, I grabbed a pen and wrote down the date of the season premier. So what is Hell's Kitchen?

Each week Ramsay will grill the ambitious hopefuls as they attempt to prove they have what it takes to run their own restaurant. He will slice and dice the contestants, keeping only those who possess the right combination of ingredients to ensure success. The contestants’ inexperience, combined with the perfectionist Ramsay’s acid tongue, may be a recipe for disaster, but for one aspiring restaurateur, it’s the chance of a lifetime.

Gordon Ramsay, a world class chef from London is not someone you want in you kitchen when you don't know what you're doing, trust me. From the 2 seasons, one can deduce that he is a perfectionist and he wants a Chef to represent him to know exactly what he is doing. We've seen aspiring chef contestants cry and cower just by the sound of his voice. If you don't like being yelled at, well, the show is not for you. It is brutal in Chef Ramsay's kitchen. It certainly fits the show's name, Hell's Kitchen :) .

Season 3 starts on June 4th at 9pm, do check it out. You might learn a thing or 2 about the pressurre of running a restaurant of your own.
