It's Your Body: When to Buy Organic

There's a bit of a controversy as to whether organic produce is healthier than non-organic. Sounds like a no-brainer to me. I would be eating organic all the time, except for the fact that sometimes it's so darned expensive that I refuse to pay the price. I mean $5.49 for a small container of strawberries? That hurts, especially when the "regular" ones are $4.99 for a pack 3 times the size!

Apparently non-organic produce isn't any healthier nutrition-wise, but there are some fruits and vegetables that have higher fertilizer and pesticide residues. These foods include: Strawberries, Bell Peppers, Spinach, Cherries, Peaches, Cantaloupe, Celery, Apples, Apricots, Green Beans and Grapes. When you can, by these foods organically, just to be on the safe side...
