Mukka Express Makes a Cappuccino that will Impress

This 'coffeepot' was a Christmas gift. I was skeptical upon opening it, but was soon frothing up hot, creamy cappuccinos, and I haven't looked back since!

The Mukka Express works on the old percolate function.

Water goes into the bottom black bowl. Expresso is carefully placed in the filter in the middle, and then the 'pot' is screwed on top of the black bowl. Be sure to attached the pressure valve inside the silver pot, and if you are hoping for a cappuccino, press the black button down. If you want a latte, don't press the black bottom down - simple! Pour milk into the silver pot. There's a indicator line so you know how much to pour in.

Then place the whole unit on a burner and turn the heat up to medium. (The burner should start cold.)

Go and read the newspaper while your coffee is being created. Soon you'll hear a 'pop' and then lots of bubbling as the steam & espresso is released into the silver pot. This creates a fantastic foam.

This unit is consistently great tasting, and so far it has been a good stepping stone as I save up my pennies for a quality espresso machine.

Does anyone have an espresso machine that they think is the best thing they own? I'd like one of those.
