Rice Chips that say WOW!!!

Sometimes I come across a food product that I just have to share with everyone. My last trip to Costco had me intrigued by the packaging of some rice chips that I ultimately bought and loved.

I was impressed with the following that was written on the outside of the bag:

Finally, something different. Really different. But don't take our word for it. Hold one up to the light and see for yourself. A chip that's made with whole grain brown rice. With NO artificial flavours, wheat or glutens in there. It's made with only the good stuff. You can see the rice right in there, and we don't need to tell you how good whole grain brown rice is for you. That's what makes the crunch really, really crunchy.

I thought this statement on the front of the bag was hilarious as it sounded like someone was blogging to me about the chips. I laughed when I read it because they kept saying "in there". Of course, I bought them solely on the tickle I got from the words. I was impressed to find that these rice chips were thick and tasty, unlike the usual selection of thin and bland rice chips and crackers. These chips actually have a corn chip quality to them. (They contain corn flour.)

They have no added msg, no cholesterol and no trans fat. They come in a selection of gourmet flavours including Salsa Fresca, Sesame Soy, Wasabi, and Thai Curry.

Eat them as they are or add salsa or guacamole. Eat them by themselves or serve them as a side at your next BBQ. I bought the Sweet Chili flavour and will be buying them again...and again...

Happy Cooking!

COSTCO quit carrying them. What can we do? They were a gluten free mainstay for me and my family loved them too.

Where can you purchase the Sweet Chili or any. My mom love the Sweet Chili and also purchase them at Cosco and can't find them anywhere.
