Sparkling Wines Are Not Just For Special Occasions

Hey, it's Thursday night, pick up a sparkling wine for dinner. Yes, there's a bit of a push to start enjoying those bubbly wines outside of New Year's and job promotions.

I say yea!

It's sort of exciting to have a sparkling wine in the middle of the week. Afterall, every day should be a celebration, no?

Drinking sparkling wine from a flute or tulip glass aids in helping the tiny bubbles to last as long as possible. A normal wine glass will flatten out the wine and the bubbles will disappear sooner. (That's no fun!)

Sparkling wine is wine to be consumed, not collected. Unless it's of a superior quality ($$$), it won't keep it's taste past 3-4 years.

I'm not a wine expert, but I sure like to try different wines. I'm going to try Pink by Yellowglen. It's affordable for every day drinking, and if I like it, Yellowglen has a few labels at a higher pricepoint that I might consider for New Year's.

Enjoy a Sparkling Wine tonight.

Cheers,

- Lesli
