White Chocolate Chip Cookies

My son and I made these after he finished doing his homework last Tuesday. Making cookies is one of our favorite things to do together. Kinda like our bonding moment. In lieu of our usual chocolate chip cookies, I decided to use white morsels coz I was really craving for the sweetness only a white chocolate could give me. I wish I had macadamia nuts too but I forgot to buy 'em the last time I went grocery shopping. Oh well, the cookies are still good :).

INGREDIENTS:
2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 sticks of butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 package of white chocolate morsels
1 cup of macadamia nuts (optional)

Blend flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Cream butter with vanilla extract. Add brown sugar, and granulated sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time and beat thoroughly. Mix in dry ingredients.

Fold in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts(optional) using a spatula.

Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375F 10 to 12 minutes. Cool cookies on wire racks.
