Looking to spice up your dinner? Ditch the meatballs! How about trying some Chorizo Sausage with your pasta? There is nothing like spicy sausage to perk up a mealtime.
It's not a bad idea to have a pack or two of Chorizo Sausage, or Spicy Italian Sausage in your freezer. It cooks up fast, tasty and can be added to all sorts of dishes - pasta, soups or casseroles.
Usually I just cut the sausage into 1 inch pieces and cook in a pan with the lid on, stirring occasionally. While the sausage is cooking I chop up onions and peppers and add these items to the sausage. Once everything in the pan is cooked I add the pasta sauce. Now you have a sausage and red pepper sauce that will be a great addition to any type of pasta. Don't forget to add parmesan cheese!
